Assignment Write-up:

From the readings I enjoyed learning the different "standard" shots, angles, and other techniques employed in film making, and applying that to movies I've enjoyed in the past. I like seeing what exactly I like visual about the scene and the reasoning behind them.

I also enjoyed reading about the cross-over of photographic techniques to a motion based media. Having had classes and experience with photography, I'm curious to see how well the things I've learned for still image making transfer to video.

As far as the questionnaire went, It took me awhile to figure out exactly how I wanted to answer some of them. Though in the end I feel pretty good about the exercise and now have more ideas for starting points on projects for the class.
